Fix Meters Problems on Mazda Connect
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| Meters is not in Applications | Turn the ignition off and on, then run REPAIR. If it is still missing, check whether Meters is in your package. See Meters is missing. |
A reading shows --- | Wait briefly after startup. Meters shows --- instead of a missing, stale, or implausible value. A field that never fills may not exist on your car: assign a different reading there. Data reference |
| My themes or custom dashboard aren’t in the car | Saving in My ScreenTune changes nothing in the car. They arrive only in a new package. See themes need a new package. |
GPS readings show --- | Wait for a usable fix with a clear view of the sky. They show --- again whenever the fix goes stale or inaccurate. |
| A reading has a RAW badge | Expected. The field shows the factory source’s integer code, with no calibrated unit or scale. Use it to compare drives or cars, not as an instrument. |
| No red zone on the tachometer | Expected when ScreenTune has not identified a vehicle profile with a reviewed redline. Meters shows a neutral 8,000 RPM scale, and the RPM reading itself is unaffected. |
| The car’s theme or readings changed after an update | The package was likely requested with Also reset Meters on the car to these choices ticked. Pick them again with the knob or touch. |
| Meters and its settings are gone after REMOVE | Expected. REMOVE deletes Meters and its settings. Installing again brings Meters back without the old settings. |
Theme, layout, and reading choices otherwise survive restarts, UPDATE, REPAIR, and the rollback after a failed action.
Meters is missing from Applications
Section titled “Meters is missing from Applications”- Turn the ignition off, wait two minutes, start the car, and check Applications again.
- If Meters is still missing, insert the ScreenTune USB and choose REPAIR. See repair ScreenTune.
- If REPAIR does not bring it back, check whether Meters is in your package: open Applications → Miatafy → WHAT’S INSTALLED and look for Miatafy Meters.
When Meters is not in the package, the Meters page in My ScreenTune shows Meters isn’t in this car’s ScreenTune with an Add Meters button. Adding it builds a new package. Install it with UPDATE, or REPAIR if the prompt shows the version you already have. See add or change features.
Themes from My ScreenTune need a new package
Section titled “Themes from My ScreenTune need a new package”Nothing in My ScreenTune changes the car directly. A new theme list or custom dashboard reaches the car only in a new ScreenTune package: select Get an update on your Meters themes page, then install the package with UPDATE, or REPAIR if the prompt shows the version you already have. Send themes to the car has the steps.
To check the result, open Meters, touch the screen to show the controls, and use the arrow button next to home to open the theme list. See Getting started with Meters.
