Mazda Connect Aha, Pandora, and Stitcher Status
Aha, Pandora, and Stitcher are dedicated internet-audio clients in some first-generation Mazda Connect systems. Each client used a phone for its app, account, and internet connection while exposing service-specific controls on the Mazda screen.
Their current status differs. Stitcher is unavailable. Pandora still operates in the United States and its territories, although compatibility with the older Mazda client depends on the phone and connection method. Aha has no published HARMAN or Mazda shutdown notice, but its current Mazda integration is not documented.
Stitcher is closed, Pandora remains active, and Aha is unverified

An Aha or Pandora icon in the Entertainment menu proves that the CMU contains the client. It does not prove that the phone app, account, territory, or remote service still supports that client.
Aha put phone-delivered stations behind Mazda controls
Section titled “Aha put phone-delivered stations behind Mazda controls”HARMAN introduced Mazda’s Aha integration with the redesigned 2014 Mazda3. Its September 2013 announcement describes internet radio, podcasts, news, audiobooks, social feeds, weather, and nearby-place information delivered through a phone over Bluetooth. Mazda presented Aha like another radio band and provided station controls through the center display and commander.
Mazda’s first-generation Connect manual requires the Aha phone app, an Aha account, a signed-in session, a selected preset, and a Bluetooth connection. The same manual says content varies by country and that Aha is unavailable in some countries. HARMAN’s launch covered Japan, the United States, and additional North American and Asian markets rather than every Mazda market.
Current availability needs a functional test. The old Mazda manual explains how the integration was designed, but it does not establish current app availability, sign-in, station, or dashboard-link behavior.
PandoraLink needs the phone app and a supported connection
Section titled “PandoraLink needs the phone app and a supported connection”Pandora’s Mazda client provided station lists, thumbs-up and thumbs-down controls, bookmarks, and station creation on the Mazda screen. Mazda’s Pandora instructions require the Pandora phone app, an account, and at least one station before selecting Pandora from the Entertainment source list.
The phone connection depends on the phone and vehicle. Pandora’s Mazda quick-reference guide specifies USB for iPhones of that period, Bluetooth support on some newer combinations, and Bluetooth for Android phones. The guide also requires the phone app to be open before selecting Pandora on the Mazda screen.
Pandora still publishes a Mazda partner page, but the underlying service is region-limited. Pandora’s April 2024 terms authorize service only in the United States and its territories. A car imported from the United States can still show the Mazda Pandora source in another country even though the account service is unavailable there.
Stitcher lost Mazda linkage before the service closed
Section titled “Stitcher lost Mazda linkage before the service closed”Stitcher provided internet radio and podcasts through a signed-in phone app. Mazda’s Connect manual says the native connection stopped working with Stitcher app version 10 and later, while phone projection remained available.
SiriusXM later discontinued the Stitcher app and website on August 29, 2023, according to CBS News. The dedicated Stitcher source in Mazda Connect therefore has no supported phone app or service to connect to.
Bluetooth, CarPlay, and Android Auto use separate paths

Mazda documents Bluetooth Audio as a separate source using A2DP and AVRCP profiles. Mazda also documents music and other compatible phone apps through Android Auto and the equivalent Apple CarPlay interface.
ScreenTune changes only the dedicated Mazda clients
Section titled “ScreenTune changes only the dedicated Mazda clients”ScreenTune turns off the Stitcher client automatically because its app and website closed. Aha remains an owner choice. If the form asks about Pandora, leave its removal box unchecked when that Mazda source works and you use it, or when you are unsure.
Turning off a dedicated Aha or Pandora client does not turn off Bluetooth Audio, CarPlay, Android Auto, or the corresponding phone app. When Stitcher and Aha or Pandora are both off, ScreenTune can also stop their now-unused supporting processes.
