Start here
Section titled “Start here”- New install: Prepare the USB → Install ScreenTune → Check the install. A mailed USB arrives ready, so start at Install.
- Something wrong? ScreenTune troubleshooting. Screen keeps restarting or stays black? Keeps restarting or black screen.
- Lost the USB? Download your package again.
- Need a person? Contact support and what to send.
Install ScreenTune
Section titled “Install ScreenTune”A USB mailed by Miatafy arrives ready, so start at step 3.
- Prepare the USB: format an 8–32 GB drive as FAT32 with an MBR partition table, unzip
ScreenTune-<version>.zip, and copy the extracted files to the top level of the drive. - Check the drive layout:
jci-autoupdateandSTART_HERE.htmlappear as soon as you open the drive. - Install ScreenTune: with Mazda Connect running, insert the drive, select INSTALL, and wait for the automatic restart.
- Check the install: confirm each change you chose, then store the USB.

Update, repair, or remove it with the same USB
Section titled “Update, repair, or remove it with the same USB”- Update to a new release: install a newer package with UPDATE.
- Repair the installed package: reapply the same version when a change goes missing.
- Remove ScreenTune (go back to stock): put the car back the way it was before ScreenTune.
- Changelog: what changed in each release.
Manage your car in My ScreenTune
Section titled “Manage your car in My ScreenTune”My ScreenTune is the customer portal. Sign in with the email on your order to:
- download your package again;
- get the latest release with your current setup;
- add or change features, such as Meters or AA Touch;
- check your license and update dates; and
- change your email or transfer a license.

Get help or recover the car
Section titled “Get help or recover the car”- Get help: email
support@miatafy.comwith your order email, a photo of Settings → System → About, a photo of the screen, and the contents of the ScreenTune USB as a ZIP. - Recovery options: REMOVE, support-assisted recovery, a full firmware reflash, and mail-in service.
