Mazda Bluetooth introduces the phone
The factory Bluetooth service advertises Android Auto and completes the opening setup with the phone. It then supplies the connection details for Mazda’s projection Wi-Fi.

Mazda’s v74 firmware includes Google’s Wi-Fi-capable Android Auto receiver. Mazda’s production software starts it only for USB. AA Wireless adds the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi startup steps so a phone can connect directly to the factory screen.
The factory Bluetooth service advertises Android Auto and completes the opening setup with the phone. It then supplies the connection details for Mazda’s projection Wi-Fi.
Mazda’s existing Android Auto receiver handles the screen, sound, commander knob, steering-wheel buttons, calls, and navigation. AA Wireless starts its wireless mode rather than replacing the receiver.
The implementation uses the factory services that already control both radios. Each radio keeps one owner, while AA Wireless adds only the missing Android Auto messages and session handoff.
A live wired test reached the normal 800×480 projection state with the new connection layer loaded but inactive. The remaining regression check covers a physical unplug and reconnect, picture, sound, knob, buttons, and touch.
The planned release uses the reviewed ScreenTune installer flow. It checks the exact firmware, backs up each original file, installs the required additions, and restores the stock configuration on removal.

Not end to end yet. A real phone can find the new Android Auto service over Mazda Bluetooth and complete the opening setup, and wired Android Auto still starts with the new connection layer loaded. The phone has not yet joined the car’s Wi-Fi and opened a full wireless session, so there is no customer download today.
The factory unit already contains Google’s wireless-capable Android Auto receiver. Mazda connected it only to the USB path and left out the steps that introduce the phone over Bluetooth and move it onto the car’s Wi-Fi. AA Wireless supplies those missing steps around the software already in the dash.
No. AAWireless is a third-party hardware-adapter brand. Miatafy AA Wireless is software for the factory Mazda screen and is designed to connect the phone directly to the car. If you need wireless Android Auto now, an adapter remains the available option; the adapter guide compares them.
The first target is Gen 6 Mazda Connect on firmware v74.00.324A. Mazda used more than one Wi-Fi setup across these cars, so the exact model list is still being tested. Joining the list tells us what you drive; it does not promise that your car is covered yet.

No. Wireless changes how the phone connects. The commander knob and steering-wheel buttons keep their existing behavior. AA Touch is the separate project for touchscreen input.
